“Silk on Wounds” was independently founded by artist & designer Matthew Boblet in 2026.
Inspired by his upbringing in the industrial Midwest, Silk on Wounds expresses the emotional and sensory experience of life in post-industrial America, juxtaposing disparate rural and urban cultures, exploring themes of abandonment, trauma, death and rebirth.
